The surgery are dealing with a large number of requests for vaccination information following the small outbreak in Kent

If you have been at Kent university or any of the schools affected they will have their own procedures please contact them for more information

We need our telephone lines to remain free to take calls from patients who are unwell and we ask that you do not call us for general vaccination information as this information is available for you on line. We appreciate you maybe concerned but we do need to rationalise our resources and the NHS has not declared the outbreak to be anything than a local concern .

We cannot give information to parents about children over the age of 16 as they are considered adults.

Your child(adult) can send a PATCH’ request for the information (see on line consultation) if they want it

Vaccination histories can take a minimum of 7 days to provide

We can provide ACWY vaccines to registered patients aged 13 to 25 years ONLY if they did not get the vaccination at school (given age 12/13/14 years)
