The Vaccination and Immunisation discussion was cancelled due to lack of interest.

4.3 News letter

The Autumn/Winter Newsletter has been circulated.

4.4 Sept 2025 F and F feedback

Feedback was such that Pxs seem pleased, but time is taken to be seen.

5. Stakeholders

5.1 NELFT: JM reported

One of the main points of the webinar was that even though SystemOne is used by many for matters like repeat Rxs one has to respect the practice doing their own system so the local Federation has to understand that fact. This is especially note-worthy as the ICB are trying to get PCNs to work together which is not easy in terms of practices coming together when they want their own autonomy.

5.2 HCL meetings report – JM

A framework of community responsibilities was explained. HealthShare seems to give bad experiences with Physios which was reported by a number of people. PATCHs has only be given V.Good or Good by 76% skewed by Pxs comments. It is used for repeat Rxs but it was pointed out that SystemOne works well at MHC. The general push was for the use of the NHS app for all matters.  The next meeting is 27th January 2026

This meeting was told that there is another app: GreenGauge app as well as the NHS one.

5.3 HealthWatch: BH not present

6. Event programme

Spring events need to be itemised in the next Newsletter. One suggested topic is Physios in Practice and the arrangements to be made to be seen.

This was chosen because of the disquiet with the system and might alert all that the system needs better organisation. Appointments at HealthShare/MSK take far too long to happen but apparently CORA is not for MHC Pxs.

7.Appointments and Follow-Ups

The discussion was lead by MF who although has had good treatment from MHC has found issues with arrangements for F/U appointments and so apparently have many others. Then when seen at the F/U by a different Dr the time in the appointment to read previous notes or emails has reduced the time for the actual appointment, so consistency would help and expectation that any email has been read beforehand would be ideal. One of the main issues is that the Dr cannot make the next visit appointment on their system often because the new rota is not operational. It is suggested that if the Dr needs a F/U in a few weeks that either they should be able to make it at the consultation or it is flagged up for the receptionists to make once the new rota is in place.

8. AOB

8.1 2026 Meeting dates

JM will put together the 2026 dates ready for the next meeting.

8.2 Westminster Open Age forms.

JM reported the time taken for a Dr’s signature to start to attend a Falls exercise session has meant a few week of missed experience which even surprised the organisation. It was asked if the time of 21/28 days could be reduced in these simple situations.

8.3 House Visits

It was asked whether House Visits still take place and when they are really necessary.
