Resonate Arts

Resonate Arts run a monthly dementia friendly concert series in partnership with the Royal Academy of Music. The concerts take place either at St Marylebone Parish Church or at Wigmore Hall, 36 Wigmore St, W1U 2BP, with performances given by students from the Royal Academy of Music.

The concerts are free and open to people living with dementia who are interested in the arts and live in Westminster or Kensington & Chelsea. Typically, these are people with a diagnosis of dementia (early – mid-stage) or in the process of getting a diagnosis; carers and family members are also very welcome to attend.

The concerts are relaxed, usually 45 minutes to an hour and audience members are free to get up, move around and make noise during the performance. There’s a 30-minute refreshment session beforehand which gives people a chance to relax and socialise, the concerts start at 3pm and then people can stay after for more refreshments if they choose.

Please see our October newsletter so you can see some of the other dementia friendly creative arts activities and events that we run, as well as those run by other organisations in the bi-borough. I’ve also attached a copy of the next concert flyer.
