COVID vaccines- All those at risk and over 50 are being invited to have a COVID vaccine/Booster The COVID vaccination team will contact patients in order of age and risk. Patients who live with at risk patients and carers will also be called.
Practice Flu campaign– We have started to give flu vaccines to those patients aged 65 and over and will shortly be contacting those patients in the high risk groups, including pregnant women, carers and patients who live with immunosuppressed patients.
MonkeyPox Vaccination– Monkeypox is a rare infection most commonly found in west or central Africa. There has recently been an increase in cases in the UK, but the risk of catching it is low. Information about the virus and arranging a vaccination against it can be found on these links
Children’s Immunisations including MMR– Vaccines are the most effective way to prevent infectious diseases. It’s important that vaccines are given on time for the best protection, but if you or your child missed a vaccine, contact your GP to catch up. Its never too late to protect your children
