Patient Information

Please be aware that we will close at 1pm on Wed 6th December 2017 for our Centre Review.

This is the annual team and PPG meeting where we meet to review the year and share our learning. We will also look at the challenges and work we need to do in 2018. If you would like your PPG to put forward any ideas at the meeting please email them on CLCCG.PPG@admin.nhs.net

When we are closed please call our usual no 0207 935 6328 and your call will be diverted to our answering service where a call handler will triage your call.  You can also call 111. Calls to this number are free.

We would like to thank NHS England and Central London Clinical Commissioning Group to allow us to close for this very important event.

Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT)

At least 1 in 4 people experience a mental health issue at some point in their lives. If you are finding it difficult to cope with feelings of anxiety or depression, we can offer quick and easy access to help and support. Talking about your problems really can help. The Westminster IAPT service can give you the time you need to talk. We can help you learn ways to help yourself feel more able to cope with your problems. hompage

We offer cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) as our primary treatment approach, as it has strong research evidence and is recommended by the Department of Health. There is a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and a CBT therapist working at the Marylebone Health Centre. The service is confidential and we try to see everyone as soon as we can. Different people have different needs, and the treatment can be provided in a number of ways:

  • Guided self help
  • Individual therapy
  • Computer programmes
  • Self-Help books through your local library
  • Employment support

If you would like to find out more speak to your GP and ask for a referral to the Westminster IAPT service. Alternatively you can refer yourself directly by asking for an 'IAPT opt-in pack' at reception. One can also phone or email the IAPT service directly on:
